Russell Westbrook Signs $85.7 Million Dollar Deal

Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder have reached an agreement in principle on a new contract potentially worth $85.7 million over the next three seasons, league sources told ESPN. The deal includes a player option that would allow Westbrook to still become a free agent after the 2017-18 season.

Talks between the sides centered around the addition of two more years to Westbrook’s current deal, which expires after the 2016-17 season. The new deal would call for Westbrook’s salary to jump from $17.8 million next season to the maximum $26.5 million. He would then earn the max the next two seasons if he exercises the third-year option.

Serena Williams Twerking

Earlier this year, tennis phenom Serena Williams took to the streets to give twerking lessons to random strangers. Some of the impromptu lessons worked while some of them did not go as well. From there, Williams made an appearance in Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade music video, where she twerked alongside the songstress.

The Tears Of Joy

If I can see joy in your eyes then share with me your smile. I hope you have enjoyed my music and its odd sound. There are times in our life when our heart just opens up and tears roll down in happiness, when we are truly happy which no words can explain.

It's not rain, it's the tears of joy behind you enjoying my music. Tears of joy are like the summer rain drops pierced by sunbeams. I never understood what people meant when they said they had 'tears of joy', but right now I am so happy and so in love with you.

Increase Sells Through Retailers

Although this is a new day and age with retailers and digital going hand to hand, the competition out ways itself when it comes to community stores. The purpose of any business is to bring in customers. Because in today's competitive retail world... getting results is what counts.

Having your own business is more than just creating a job for yourself. Your basic roles are in marketing, finance, administration, and the responsibility of personnel. Many stores are run by well-intended people but who don't have all the information they need to do their job. This includes a clear idea of market segment, target markets, customer service, product selection, marketing mix, promotional activities and pricing tactics.

Vanilla Ice Rants Off

(The Wrap-Up Magazine) The rapper and reality TV personality can be seen yelling at a guy who told him that he should have been “watching the monitor, dude.” He screamed at the guy after yelling at two Delta employees. “Hey, I don’t need any information from you, man. Shut your f**kin mouth. I don’t give a f**k. Shut your mouth. I don’t need anything from you. You don’t work here. Shut up,” said Vanilla Ice.

He screamed at another employee before talking to the woman seen in the video, according to China K, the person who uploaded the video onto YouTube. China K claimed Ice cursed out the other employee before he walked away. The woman in the video was summoned after his initial outburst.

The rapper commented on the situation after the video was released, as he Tweeted, "Hahha- funniest thing about this video is the guy that was the smart ass, had a TMNT shirt on I told him he's not worthy. #Funny." He added, "How funny, vanilla ice has a meltdown. More like over caffeinated, and no sleep. Wrong actions but right point."

50 Cent Talks Justin Bieber

"He's going through those phases growing up. It's like Michael Jackson issues," 50 told Sharon Osbourne and co-hosts Sheryl Underwood, Sarah Gilbert, Aisha Taylor and guest host Thomas Lennon. "Everybody gets a little tougher when I'm around." What 50 was alluding to was how much fun Bieber seemed to be having as he went about spraying champagne on the crowd.

Justin Bieber came up as a topic of conversation during Tuesday's episode of "The Talk" [August 2], and along with mention of the mega pop star came a comparison to the King of Pop. With 50 Cent stopping in as the show's guest, reference was made to Justin's behavior while attending a recent party hosted by the "Power" producer; behavior which Fif likened to that of MJ himself.

Bieber has resurfaced on Hip Hop's radar over the past week with him showing up Taylor Swift while face timing with Kanye West early Tuesday. The Instagram photo he posted of this time with Ye would draw 150k comments by the day's end.

Bieber's rock star attitude was scrutinized earlier in the year when he made it known that he would no longer sign autographs or take random selfies with fans in public. Those conditions would allegedly lead to his confrontation with a fan whose request for a signature he'd reject and would up exchanging blows with in Cleveland in early June.

Taking Flight

By leaving your comfort zone behind and taking a leap of faith into something new, you find out who you are truly capable of becoming. Taking a few moments to be thankful for what is going well in your life is an excellent way to dive into the day with a positive attitude.

In life, its rarely about getting a chance; its about taking a chance. You'll never be 100% sure it will work, but you can always be 100% sure doing nothing wont work. Most of the time you just have to go for it! And no matter how it turns out, it always ends up just the way it should be.

Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.

For everything in this journey of life we are on, there is a right wing and a left wing: for the wing of love there is anger; for the wing of destiny there is fear; for the wing of pain there is healing; for the wing of hurt there is forgiveness; for the wing of pride there is humility; for the wing of giving there is taking; for the wing of tears there is joy; for the wing of rejection there is acceptance; for the wing of judgment there is grace; for the wing of honor there is shame; for the wing of letting go there is the wing of keeping.
