JAY-Z continues to expand his business portfolio with a series of sound investments. His most recent uptaking includes investing $16.5 million USD into a soon-to-launch mobile robot-powered pizza restaurant, Stellar Pizza.
Since 1996, Jay-Z continues to leave his mark on the world, from hip-hop and beyond, by releasing material favored by the masses both as a soloist and collaborator to music’s biggest stars — not limited to Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Kanye West and, of course, his wife Beyoncé.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s rags-to-riches family life: the Fenty Beauty founder and rapper both had humble upbringings, but their first baby will enjoy million-dollar mansions. The singer and multi-business mogul has bought a luxurious mansion, with a massive pool, spa, gym and more.
An Abu Dhabi-based investment firm linked to a top security official in the United Arab Emirates said Thursday it has invested $25 million in Savage X Fenty, the lingerie company co-founded by megastar and business mogul Rihanna.
Savage X Fenty also raised new investment from the Abu Dhabi Growth Fund, owned by the Abu Dhabi government.
Rihanna has landed at the mall. Her Savage X Fenty brand of high-gloss, super-sexy lingerie and intimates is opening five stores in shopping malls across the United States this month, first in Las Vegas, and then Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Houston. “Our expectation is you won’t be able to walk past these stores and not go in, even if you’re not in the market for lingerie,” says Savage X Fenty’s co-president and chief marketing officer.
Rihanna is showing no signs of slowing down the expansion of her fashion empire and now’s she’s supplying the world with a new collection primed for this upcoming Valentine’s Day. The latest campaign from Savage X Fenty is known as “Love On The Edge,” and the distinction is an honest assessment of the new offerings.
Now that summer is out and the winter holidays are here, let's take time to reflect on all the toned-up beach bodies this year we all encountered. Celebrities put their best bikinis — and boardshorts — forward this summer as they sunned, swam and swanned around hot spots from South Beach to St. Barts.
But while celebs such as J.Lo and Halle Berry basked in beach glory, others committed fashion crimes in paradise like Mariah Carey and so on. Between their envy-inducing abs and super-toned stems, these celebrities are bringing the heat.
Rihanna's coming at you with some news: Fenty Beauty is having a Memorial Day Weekend Sale -- offering up to 50% off select Fenty Beauty items.
This sale comes right after the launch of Body Sauce -- a luminizing tint for the perfect summer body glow.
Rihanna’s not only building a billion-dollar business with Fenty, she’s working on creating a Beverly Hills compound.
Just three months after she scooped up a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate in the ritzy 90210 area code, the “Disturbia” singer brought the house next door under her “Umbrella” for a cool $10 million in a private sale.
This past Monday, rapper Jay-Z unveiled a deal with LVMH to expand his Armand de Brignac champagne globally. The next day, Oatly, the Swedish vegan-milk group in which he has invested, took its first step towards a $10bn initial public offering.
Partake foods, a vegan and allergy-friendly food company, saw a generous investment from Jay-Z last year. Now, it appears that Partake was able to amass a decent amount of funding from a long list of reputable stars, including Rihanna. It is her first investment outside of her own lines, such as Savage x Fenty. Rihanna continues to expand her business ventures while making fans wait for new music. However, it's hard to argue with Rihanna's business mindset; she's been killing it.
Partake completed a $4.8 million Series A funding round in late December, led by investors including Rihanna, Kevin Johnson's Black Capital, Seattle Seahawks’ Bobby Wagner, Black Star Fund, Once Upon a Farm CEO John Foraker, CircleUp Growth Partners, FF2032 and Marcy Venture Partners.
Beyoncé, Rihanna and Taylor Swift are the only music acts included on Forbes’ annual list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women, where they’re sharing rarefied air with the likes of Queen Elizabeth II, Oprah Winfrey and Vice-President elect Kamala Harris.
“The leaders on Forbes’ 2020 list of the World’s Most Powerful Women are playing a critical role in determining what the post-pandemic world will look like.” “Their influence is being leveraged beyond economic and political might to transform industries and solve for society’s most urgent issues. The power they hold to move us all forward has never been more apparent — or needed.
Rihanna ranks highest among the singing icons, at No. 69, mostly for her charitable efforts. The$800 million Bajan beauty donated millions of dollars to various charities, including coronavirus relief efforts, and to help abuse victims in L.A. and the needy in New York City. Of course, the “Only Girl in the World” chanteuse is also a business maven, thanks to her Fenty Beauty line and Savage X Fenty lingerie line — expanded through a landmark partnership with LMVH, the French conglomerate, which is at the helm of Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, and Louis Vuitton.
What do Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez have in common? I mean, aside from being legendary music, dance, and style icons, they also happen to both love the same highlighter: Iconic London's Illuminator Liquid Highlight. That's right, the same $40 highlighter is responsible for some of the most glowing skin in the game.
Beyoncé is notoriously private, but over the years she has let slip some real gems about her beauty routine, like details on the $10 mascara she wore during her legendary Beychella performance, and the secret to her “Teflon face” that lasts through three-hour concerts. And earlier this fall, it was revealed that her makeup artist Rokael Lizama used Iconic London's highlighter for her candlelit glow in the Black Is King visual album.
That news was enough to make us want to get our hands on it immediately, but that desire was only intensified when J.Lo was recently spotted in the same highlighter in her new music video for “Pa Ti.” In addition to its superstar stamp of approval, the illuminator's versatility is another selling point that had us dying to try it.
