Dave Chappelle Is No Fan Of Staten Island

One thing is clear from watching Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix special: He’s no fan of Staten Island.

In addition to calling the borough an “awful place, Chappelle said: " F– everybody on Staten Island except the Wu-Tang Clan" in the special, dubbed “8:46” that can be viewed on YouTube.

In addition to bashing Staten Island, Chappelle addresses rallies and issues surrounding the death of George Floyd, killings of African Americans and police brutality in the 27-minute show. He commended the youth for the demonstrations, and expressed his outrage over Floyd’s death.

Couple Mocks Eric Garner Video

This couple have to be the bravest couple I know. A tasteless couple mocked Eric Garner’s death on live TV late Wednesday, laughing it up while re-enacting the Staten Island man’s final moments. As WPIX reporter Allison Kaden reported live near Rockefeller Center on Garner-related protests, the distasteful duo video-bombed her shot — with the man wrapping his forearm around the woman. The woman even threw her hands in the air, just like Garner did moments before he was swarmed by cops busting him for allegedly selling loose, tax-free cigarettes.

The giggling couple then stepped away, and the reporter kept on talking without realizing what had played out behind her. Garner died during that July 17 confrontation and a Staten Island grand jury announced Wednesday it could not find enough evidence to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who applied a chokehold on the suspect.

I can't believe this is happening again. Another young life killed by the hands of the police. I mean this the way I said it, a boy was killed by the hands of a cop doing the choke-hold move then smashing his head to the ground.
