Migos And Chief Keef Beef Squashed

The beef between Atlanta rap crew Migos and Chicago's Chief Keef has been drawn out for about a year now, but finally all of the tension between them has been put to rest.  While both the Migos and Keef's GBE crew have spent a lot of energy harboring negative emotions and firing off disses at one another, they managed to put all of their differences aside for the benefit of their careers.

Both Keef and the Migos members posted the same picture of them standing together, with the official Migos Twitter account captioning the image, "Miglo."  Their newfound peace was influenced greatly by Atlanta OG KK, who intervened and helped the young rappers turn what could've become a very negative situation for both sides into something positive that can they can benefit from in the long-run.  OG KK addressed their newfound peace on Twitter.

Birdman And Mannie Fresh Reunites

It has been over a decade since Birdman and Mannie Fresh split after a legendary run together as the executive + producer team behind Cash Money Records' rise in the rap game. But come October 7, they will have officially put their long estrangement behind them, as the duo announced a Big Tymers reunion show that will mark Fresh's return to the label.

Holding down the exclusive role as in-house producer of Cash Money since 1993, Mannie Fresh was almost solely responsible for the production work behind the Hot Boys albums that put New Orleans rap on the map. He would also compose the solo projects of members Juvenile, BG, Turk and Lil Wayne, before forming the Big Tymers tandem with the label head himself. But in 2005 a royalties dispute spelled the end of his relationship with Birdman, and the two went their separate ways.

News of the group's restoration comes on the heels of the label's deal to release a documentary titled, "The Cash Money Story: Before Anythang," through Apple Music. On Friday, September 2, tickets went on sale for fans interested in seeing the Big Tymers perform hits off of their 5 album catalog, at the New Orleans' House of Blues. The show promises to feature special guest appearances, and with such a nostalgic Cash Money Films project abound, Birdman just may make a push to bring other members of the original Cash Money camp back into the fold.

Steve Francis Gets His Chain Snatched

Former Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic and New York Knicks guard Steve Francis got dragged to the floor, stepped on and choked by his own chain, which was later stolen, during an altercation at a hip-hop show in Houston over the weekend.

Francis, 38, was one of many people on stage during a concert by Houston rap duo the Sauce Twinz. For one reason or another, beef began to broil, and before long, Francis found a hand around the gold chain around his neck, then found himself on the floor. Sources told TMZ that the as-yet-unidentified man who grabbed the chain ended up making off with it, and that police were not called to the scene in connection with the fight or the theft.

This is the latest in a string of sad and somewhat concerning updates on Francis over the past year, as the nine-year NBA veteran and former No. 2 overall pick in the 1999 draft — who last played pro ball in China in 2010, making just four appearances for the Beijing Ducks before being cut — has become considerably more likely to make headlines for things going awry or getting weird in nightclubs than for anything else.

Kelly Rowland Talks Cardi B and Nicki Minaj Beef

Kelly Rowland
It seems that everyone in the world is talking about the almost fight between rap queens Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at the Harper Bazaar party at New York Fashion Week. Include Kelly Rowland in the conversation who witnessed the almost brawl and states that “There’s no time for us as women to fight.”

“I think in a time where Serena Williams is fighting for equality—I love both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and I think that they are extremely talented—and in a time when she is fighting for women’s equality, we just can’t be fighting,” Kelly shared.

“They are just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it’s just not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean? So I don’t know. I’m Switzerland, I don’t f**king know.”

The dust-up between the two only became more of a headline once Nicki Minaj hit her Queen Radio and throw the blame for the incident on Cardi, while also stating that she doesn’t receive real love from radio or fans beyond what she pays for from out of the pocket of herself or the label.
