It turned out to be the latter, with Variety saying that Roc Nation has confirmed that Rihanna will indeed be headlining the biggest football-related music event of the year in 2023.

The NFL tried to book Rihanna for the Super Bowl in 2019.

Lady Gaga Talks Jennifer Lopez Post Halftime Show

The Grammy and Oscar winner minced no words while mentioning the much-hyped duo during her pre-Super Bowl concert Saturday at Miami’s Meridian at Island Gardens venue.

Not all of the Twitterverse was lined up behind Mother Monster, who previously beefed with pop icon and 2012 halftime headliner Madonna. “I better hear no lip-syncing tomorrow!” the 2017 halftime show star bellowed from her glitzy keyboard at the AT&T Super Saturday Night Show. “Put your drinks up! I love you Miami! I love you J.Lo! I love you Shakira!”

Wendy Williams Talks Beyoncé, Jay Z, And National Anthem

Wendy Williams kicked off her show with “Hot Topics,” which is a segment based on the latest celebrity news and gossip. Of course, there was plenty to say about the Super Bowl. Williams said she liked the halftime show overall and felt that both women did a great job. Ultimately, though, she felt Jennifer Lopez “won” the show. She said Lopez’s more glamorous look and dance moves are what sold her.

Williams condemned Jay Z and Beyoncé for sitting during the National Anthem. It was hard for people not to notice that two of the world’s biggest stars didn’t stand for the National Anthem. When Demi Lovato sang the Star Spangled Banner, most everyone stood up with their hands over their hearts. But the Carters did not.

Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, And Robert Kraft Talk Mets Development

According to multiple sources who witnessed the visit, J-Rod flew to Foxborough, Mass., on July 9 to meet with Bob and Jonathan Kraft, father-and-son owners of the New England Patriots, to hammer out a partnership on stadium operations for Citi Field and the development of Willets Point around the ballpark.

Sources inside the meeting tell The Post that J-Rod were accompanied on their trip by senior bankers from JPMorgan Chase’s private wealth group, including Mary Callahan Erdoes, CEO of the bank’s Asset & Wealth Management group.

Erdoes, 52, is considered the most powerful woman in finance and a potential successor to JPMorgan chief Jamie Dimon. Joining Erdoes and J-Rod was Vincent La Padula, head of global lending at JPMorgan’s Private Bank, which counts Rodriguez, Jennifer Lopez and the Krafts as clients, and — as The Post has reported — has been working intimately with J-Rod on their Mets bid.
