Kendrick Lamar’s smash single “Not Like Us” could potentially net the rap star another Grammy, as the song is likely to be up for consideration ahead of next year’s award show.

Mason Jr. reiterated, however, that virality isn’t the defining factor of GRAMMY nominations but rather the quality of work, noting that the voting body looks at “greatness” at the end of the day.”That’s a relevant record,” he said. “It’s impactful on so many levels. I like to believe the Academy members recognize that.” The exec then joked that diss tracks could have its own category at the GRAMMYs one day, stating that “anything is possible.”
