Google is co-funding a pilot program that will provide $12,000 per year to 225 families in California's Bay Area. The program, called It All Adds Up, will give $1,000 per month to 225 families randomly selected, while the other 225 families will receive $50 per month.
The families will receive the money on a rolling basis over five years. The program is intended to help families who are experiencing homelessness, including many led by single women of color.
