In the early '90s, rap was huge. Then came four boys from Philly who wanted to sing. They called themselves Boyz II Men. Boyz II Men is a highly popular and successful group that formed in Philadelphia in the late '80s.
Where Boyz II Men was dubbed a “crossover act” for their ability to appeal to audiences outside the R&B and urban genres, these new white acts landed on the pop charts from day one.
It’s unfortunate this group let fame and fortune go to their head, because they are really talented. they’re definitely one of my favorite R&B groups ever. Watch the video below!
