According to Forbes, some black people have been featured amongst the wealthiest for several years. They include both men and women from across the world with a handful from the great continent of Africa down to the United States of America.
What makes them the richest is their field of interest. In the United States, for example, the wealthiest black billionaires are in sports and entertainment, while black billionaires from Africa mainly come from manufacturing and other types of investments.
The number of richest black people in the world is still quite low, looking at their frequency in statistics given by most sources. In 20 21, only 8 or 1.2 percent of America’s 665 billionaires were black. By contrast, black people make up 12.2 percent of the total US population.
