According to a report from VLadTV, Meek Mill and Roc Nation management have parted ways.
The Philadelphia rapper and the management part of the company signed a deal in 2012. However, the rapper is no longer featured on their website and has been removed from their social media platforms.
This news follows Meek Mill expressing that he had issues with Atlantic records after his latest album ‘Expensive Pain’ debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. The rapper went on to say, “They didn’t put nothing into expensive pain and then said I can’t drop another project for 9 months at the end of my contract after I made them 100’s of millions ….. how would can anybody survive that … most rappers can’t speak because they depend on these companies ‘I don’t.’”
Previously, Meek Mill and Roc Nation signed a joint venture deal for his Dreamchasers imprint, where the rapper served as President. Stay tuned for more updates.
