Directed by John Singleton, Four Brothers was roughly based on the 1888 true story of the five Marlow Brothers. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin and Garrett Hedlund as adopted siblings who avenge the death of their mother.
Four Brothers connects with underlying moral currents in the way Westerns used to, back before greed, fear, anger and "society" provided action movies with all the motivation they needed.
This is a story of how some people really live there lives behind closed doors in may parts of the movie. If you know the life of a Gangster, then this movie relate to you in various ways also.
