Salma Hayek began her career in Mexico starring in the telenovela Teresa and starred in the film El Callejón de los Milagros. In 1991, Hayek moved to Hollywood and came to prominence with roles in films such as Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn, Wild Wild West, and Dogma.
Hayek's breakthrough role was in the 2002 film Frida, as Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, for which she was nominated for Best Actress for the Academy Awards. Salma Hayek is one of Hollywood's most dazzling leading actresses.
Salma Hayek has a net worth of $200 million dollars. Though it should be noted that Salma has been married to one of the wealthiest people in the world, Francois Henri Pinault, since 2009.
There is not much we can say about Jennifer Lopez that you don't already know. Lopez's musical career also began to take off, as she released her debut Latin pop album, On the 6, in June 1999. The album, fueled by the success of her hit single, "If You Had My Love," went platinum within two weeks, making Lopez and Ricky Martin one of the most influential examples of the growing Latin cultural influence in pop music.
Jennifer Lopez created her own production company called ‘Nuyorican Productions’, with manager, Benny Medina. As anything she sets her hands on, the company was a success and since 2000, Nuyorican has produced seven films including The Second Act, Bye Bye Birdie, and the most recent 2019 film, Hustlers.
Jennifer Lopez secured the big bucks in her first leading role as Selena, becoming the first Latin actress the receive such a high paycheck. She did such a good job at playing the late singer that she even received a Golden Globe nomination – marking the start of a highly successful acting career.
