If you’ve ever seen inside Canadian rapper Aubrey Drake Graham's Toronto mansion, you already know that he's got impeccable taste. The sprawling 50,000 square-foot home boasts not only an NBA-sized basketball court with a pyramidal skylight, but a chandelier adorned with 20,000 pieces of hand-cut Swarovski crystal. Order Your Luxury Scented Candle
An October Instagram post from women’s fashion brand, Revolve, revealed that Drake was starting his own luxury candle company, dubbed Better World Fragrance House. The caption noted that Revolve had partnered with this upcoming fragrance house to offer a sneak peek of the rapper's first ever candles.
Of the collection's five scents, the most notable is the Carby Musk candle. This candle allegedly "smells like Drake," and "is the personal fragrance he wears," according to its product page. This soy blend contains notes of musk, ambers, cashmere, suede, and velvet. As the description continues, "smooth musk fragrance is introspective as in an interpretation of your beautiful self, yet extravertive as how you would want others to see your bold and brilliant self."
Another scent, Sweeter Tings is described as "an addictive and nostalgic Oriental Gourmand fragrance with the subtleties of comfort and goodness," per its product page. The candle features notes of bergamot, lemon peel, dark voodoo rose, warm cedarwood, and soft musks. Meanwhile, Williamsburg Sleepover is "a genderless and luminous floral-woody musk fragrance." It features a blend of rose, lily of the valley, vetiver, amber, musk, patchouli, and cedarwood.
The Good Thoughts candle is said to mimic a "bouquet of rich florals surrounded by a vibrant bright light of freshness for a captivating positive energy." This candle features ingredients from derived internationally, including: fresh aldehydes, bergamot oil, balsam oil, ylang ylang, clove buds, and more.
Lastly, Muskoka, is an "oriental woody fragrance that emulates the smoldering warmth of burning woods, golden embers, and the feeling of being cozy by the fire," Notes of birch tar, fresh clove buds, cedarwood, sandalwood, and smoked leather accord make up the scent.
As expected, all of the Better World Fragrance House candles available on Revolve.com are currently sold out. However, those interested can sign up for email notifications to receive alerts when they return to stock.
In terms of when Better World Fragrance House is set to officially launch, the date is unknown. While Revolve's original post noted that the brand is set to drop this holiday season, there have been no updates since the October announcement. Currently, the fragrance house's website and Instagram page remain silent. However, we’ll keep be sure to keep you updated when the candles become available.
