After allegedly being concerned that Mariah Carey was going to spill all the intimate details of their relationship in her upcoming memoir, the songstress revealed that she does not talk about the Real Slim Shady in her book.
Carey’s new memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey,” will drop on September 29th, and already, she’s hyping up its release. Much ado has been made about the fact that she might be addressing her brief fling with Eminem — to the point that the “Vision of Love” singer had the “Kim” rapper allegedly “worried” about what she might reveal.
Of course, people from Marshall Mathers’ camp denied those claims, and turned around and said that it’s Carey who should be panicking, not him.
Mariah Carey isn’t shy about singing about her relationships. “My All,” she said, was about her affair with sports star Derek Jeter, and “Obsessed” — which you can see below — is about Eminem himself.
But outside of that, she really hasn’t addressed the rumors of their fling, which took place in 2001.
Both of these artists have led full and wonderful lives, filled with mostly career highs. And they’re now both reaching the five-decade mark in age (Carey actually surpassed that milestone this past March).
