I would be SO overcome at just being in his magnificent presence!! I’m not sure I could utter a sound!!! Then, I think I would break down in tears at the sight of him in front of me!! Then...I would faint!! It would be the ULTIMATE dream come true!!
ReplyDeleteI’d piss my pants and pass out.
ReplyDeleteIt is on my bucket list I would be so happy because I have always wanted to tell him how he helped a shy 13 year old who wore glasses feel better about herself somehow he being a rockstar made it ok I'm 58 now and I've worn contacts for a long time but elton and his music will always be special to me
ReplyDeleteIt would be a DREAM COME TRUE for me! I would honestly talk to him like an old friend and wouldn’t let my excitement get the better of me as much as I would like for it to. Its been my life goal, and it would me so much to me!
ReplyDeleteI’m 25 and have been listening to Elton John my whole life growing up with the Lion King and El Dorado. When I was 14 I got to see him and Billy Joel live and ever since then I have been going to see him any chance I get. I have traveled all over the country following him on tour over the last 10 years. I have seen him 31 times and plan to keep going as long as he’s touring!
I would be so happy I would probably cry he is my idol I’m on my 14 years old and I want to be just like him when I grow up when I’m down I listen to him and he makes my day so much better it’s one of my dreams to meet him
ReplyDeleteThe talent, compassion, a man who is gracious loves people Elton's causes are unique Elton's music is a ray of sunshine
ReplyDeleteI’m the daughter of an alcoholic who never entered rehab. I attended AL A Non in my thirties to deal with the trauma of my childhood. When I viewed Rocketman in the theater I experienced the most acute and profound emotional experience of my life in a movie theater. The scene where he is in group and hugs his inner child and talks to the critics in his life and head mirrored the work I did. I found myself shaking and close to breaking down viewing that and then into I’m Still Standing lifted me. I want to meet this man and yes tell him how much his music meant to me and still does but I want to just somehow tell him how profoundly moved his story was and still is for me.
ReplyDeleteOMG at the first meeting I would freeze as always nervousily then I would greet him of course and show my only memory of all my DVD of his concert in 2000 if I was with my son I would show his reactions to his songs too you know there's no barriers for a child with Hidrocephalia to react even more for a mother with autism spectrum like me
ReplyDeleteOmg its been a dream of mine to one day be able to meet Elton. I've tried everything. From fan mail to email social media everything. I've been to every Elton concert thats been in my city since I've been alive. Everything I've ever wanted. Ive been through so much and him and his music help me get though and still helps me to this day... i would do anything to get the chance even if its just 5 mins. He is my hero. I have a back disease with complex regional pain syndrome. Im only 34 years old. One day I probably won't be able to walk anymore. So I'm trying to get to see him while I can. I have backstage passes and I PRAY that maybe just maybe ill be able to see him then. I think I'd at first be overwhelmed with emotions bc yall don't know what I've been through and how much his music has gotten me through and to be able to tell him in person I would be able to die a happy happy person... so please if this is something that is actually happening please for the love of all things left that is good in this world ... please pick me!
ReplyDeleteI’ve been Elton John’ fan since I was ten years old. I love him so much! Among my favorite songs, Your Song, Ballerina, and Rocket Man are definitely remarkable to my life. I wish I could meet him in person and give him a big hug. One day, when he passes, part of me will die with him. Love Elton! And thank you!
