New Orleans label No Limit Records dominated the 1990s. A no limit soldier is a guy/gal who can hold his/her own with the liquor and party all night. They don't give up until the floor claims them for the night.
Let's keep things pumping by naming your favorite rapper of al time from the rap group No Limit Soldiers. There is so many to choose from, so many that some may not even know the name of the artist. For those of us who were there back then to follow and see the legends to grow into who they are now, we know who made the hits and who didn't.
Other performers such as 6 Piece, Short Circuit, former Gambino Family members D.I.G. and Young Gunz, Popeye, Baby Soulja, Black Felon, Afficial, Samm, Currensy, Choppa and Krazy were brought aboard from 1999 to 2000, but some failed to create interest in themselves or in No Limit Records.
“Master P” Miller had one of the most historic runs in Hip-Hop with his No Limit Records enterprise. With his brothers Sillkk The Shocker and C-Murder, P formed the group TRU and signed a number of California acts such as Ea-Ski and Lil Ric.
