I'm seeing a'lot of bad talk around Jay-Z purchasing a NFL team of his own. People have been talking bad since Colin Kaepernick did not get mentioned to the point it would reinstate him.
In my eyes, If Jay-Z owns the team, that could mean he is calling shots right? So that mean he has the opportunity to give Colin Kaepernick another round at stardom.
JAY-Z is going to buy a “significant ownership interest” in an NFL team at some point in the “near future,” with an unnamed source saying that he wants to “continue to be a change agent for the NFL.”
JAY-Z won’t be able to manage players as an owner, since he is “not an NFL agent and does not take part in the operations of the NFL players in Roc Nation.”
Jay-Z previously had to sell his stake in the Brooklyn Nets NBA team because it conflicted with his work in Roc Nation’s sports management division. Also, once this deal happens, it will make JAY-Z the first Black team owner in NFL history.
The other big wrinkle here is that we don’t know which team JAY-Z is about to procure a “significant ownership interest” in.

Also, Cardi B is correct, Jay-Z does have the power to bring Colin back if the deal goes through. Jay-Z only said were done went pass the kneeling, he did not say that the player chances were taken away. Colin responding like he is is bad, and i believe if Jay does not bring him back is because of any problems that are being caused.
