Jersey's own pop princess, ALUS, was so inspired by British rap star Not3s' smash single, "Aladdin", that she just had to make it her own. Premiered in its visual form by Popdust, ALUS' interpolation is definitely this year's 'girl power' anthem, rife as it is with her signature sultriness, assertive sensuality and well-honed performance prowess.
To ensure her vision for "Aladdin" was infused with just the right amount of glamor and fluid live-action shots, ALUS wisely chose Prime Prodigy to direct her video. His previous work with French Montana, Fetty Wap and Jim Jones guaranteed that opulence would abound and he did not disappoint. As you watch her confidently display her kingdom with all of the swagger of a Saudi Prince, one thing is very clear. ALUS belongs in this world. She owns it and everything in it from the first shot to the last. In fact, ALUS' command of this song will make you forget it wasn't hers all along. Enjoy!
