New Chain Free Bike

A new Hungarian developed chain-less bike. Ikea's new "Sladda" bicycle doesn't have a metal chain that rusts, but rather relies on a oil-free and corrosion-resistant drive belt. Companies are developing new designs and materials to replace bicycle chains with grease-free alternatives like polymer cables or carbon-toughened belts. 
Bicycle designers from Hungary have revealed the Stringbike in Padova, Italy.
