Last night, on a jump shot over Knicks guard Courtney Lee at Madison Square Garden, LeBron James, 32, became the youngest player in NBA history to reach the 28,000 point milestone. James' history-making shot came in the second quarter of what would turn out to be a narrow Cavs victory against the Knicks.
James is currently sitting at number 8 on the all-time NBA scoring list. Shaquille O'Neal is next on the list at number 7, with 28,596 points.
With this basket, #LeBronJames became the youngest player to reach 28,000 career points! Congrats, King.#DefendTheLand #NBAonABC pic.twitter.com/SE2qL7Iw5b— NBA (@NBA) February 5, 2017
