DJ Jinx Paul Killed

Jean Paul Guerrero, who spun as DJ Jinx Paul from 7 p.m. to midnight on Spanish language station La Mega 97.9 FM, was declared dead at Brookdale University Hospital. Guerrero was reportedly hit while traveling home from a late gig. Police are searching for a woman between her 20's and 30's, who is believed to have fled the scene after hitting Guerrero while he crossed Jamaica Avenue at Sheffield Avenue in Highland Park, Brooklyn. Authorities were able to recover video of the black Nissan Maxima she got away in, as it sped down Fulton street.

La Mega began paying tribute to the DJ Jinx Paul during what would have been his shift at 10 p.m. on Monday. The Harlem DJ leaves behind a 6-year-old son. He was 39-years-old.
