And now it seems Skepta has pretty much confirmed this. Drake‘s done with all that Cash Money. Even though he’s been hurt and claiming he ain’t making any new friend, his latest friend, Skepta – who just released an album – seems to be having an impact on his life and career.
“We’re putting together an official worldwide BBK label, but we haven’t talked about how it’ll work yet,” Skepta told TimeOut. “It’ll be separate to his existing contracts. Trust me, I am not gonna sue Lil Wayne.”
Could Drake’s record-breaking new release bring him that much closer to leaving Cash Money? It's certainly a possibility. According to Hip-Hop DX. Lil’ Wayne claims that Nicki Minaj and Drake are getting the same ill treatment that he got when he was at Cash Money and they may be jumping ship.
