(The Wrap-Up Magazine) A crabby husband and wife were handcuffed Saturday after starting a shellfish showdown at a Connecticut buffet, authorities said. Clifford Knight, 46, and his wife, Latoya Knight, 38, assaulted a 21-year-old man over crab legs during an 8 p.m. fracas at the Royal Buffet in Manchester.
The victim’s mother whipped out a canister of pepper spray and hosed her son’s assailants with the irritant in self-defense, cops said. Police arrested the couple, charging Clifford Knight with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. His wife is facing disorderly conduct and threat charges.
