(The Wrap-Up Magazine) Layzie Bone and Rocky Rock of Mo Thugs Records sat down with VladTV, and the Bone Thugs rapper opened up about living the street life during his childhood. The Cleveland rapper started from the beginning and revealed that he was just ten when he got into the street life, adding that it was only a few years later that he was caught with 140 rocks of crack.
Layzie then pointed out that he wanted to be a big time drug dealer just like Freeway Ricky, but it was an incident at 16 that left him wanting to leave the street life behind for music. Layzie explained that he was shot in his neighborhood during a case of mistaken identity, which left him with a bullet permanently lodged in his head. The rapper told us that it was at that moment that he knew he had to get out of the street life and start to work towards a career in music.
