What are music groupies? The term groupie is derived from group, in reference to a musical group. If your into the music business, then I hope your in it for the groupies and money. A groupie is also a fan of a music group who follows the group on concert tours. A fan will try to see an athlete or celebrity as often as possible. We don't know if The Wrap-Up Magazine has groupies worldwide, but do know we have some within our local city.
