Rapper +50 Cent released a statement saying that boxer +Floyd Mayweather can not beat him. 50 recently stopped by Power 106 and threw no-shade shade at the boxing champ, saying, “Don’t get it twisted at all. He’s still the best fighter…He won’t kick my ass. I’m 220 right now,” he said.
Last week, the Queens rapper took a jab at Floyd’s alleged illiteracy on Instagram, challenging him to “read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or fucking up. Floyd Mayweather, Sr. also weighed in on the beef with his son and had some fighting words for 50.”50 Cent seems like he’s got a problem since Floyd left him,” he told Brian Shapiro from The Vegas Take on Fox Sports 670 Las Vegas. “He’s a world known singer and he’s acting like a kid.”
He added, “He weighs over 100 pounds more than Floyd. Let him go up against Floyd … put that on video. Floyd would stop all that. Wouldn’t be no more said.” Floyd Jr. recently fired back at the criticism, posting two hefty checks amounting to over $72 million. He wrote, “Read this $72,276,000.00. God bless.”
