+Converse has released the new +Nate Lowman +Chuck Taylor $25,000 all star shoe. New York-based Nate Lowman was tapped by luxury boutique Just One Eye for a unique collaboration: a collection of Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars featuring Lowman’s artwork.
Featuring latex, acrylic and high-gloss alkyd paint on un-primed canvas, the shoes were each cut from a single piece of artwork by Lowman himself before being lined in calf leather and attached to 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star soles by craftsman in Los Angeles. Each pair comes finished with a stamp of Just One Eye’s logo and Lowman’s signature. Perfect for any art-loving and wealthy sneakerhead, the unique Chucks are available now online and limited to 21 pairs for $25,000 USD each.
