Her accolades include three Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards. Billboard has hailed Kelly Clarkson as "one of pop music's greatest singers" and honored her with the Powerhouse Award for her vocals. Clarkson became the first artist in history to top each of Billboard's pop, adult contemporary, adult pop, country, and dance charts. She was ranked nineteenth on VH1's list of 100 Greatest Women in Music. Clarkson also ventured into film, television, and writing children's books. She currently serves as a coach on the competition series The Voice and hosts the daytime talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show.

John Legend has announced he will be a coach on the upcoming 16th season of “The Voice” in the spring. The R&B superstar will join returning coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson in the big red chairs.

“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of ‘The Voice.’ I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL,” said John Legend.

“I feel like my voice is made for Christmas,” he told Real 92.3. “It has that sound, we can do the classic songs but we did some new songs too. I love Christmas music, I grew up just singing around the piano with my family so this really takes me back to those moments.”
